The Game Metaverse

BornToDie is not only a game but a metaverse. The actions here mimick the actions in the real world, or, inspired by real-world actions. Land Parcels for different purposes accomplish this job.

The gameplay forms the core and the metaverse revolves around the shooter gameplay. Gamers earn tokens from the gameplay. That starts the economic cycle. To move ahead on the gameplay or to complete the missions, or play the PTE version, they have to invest/spend tokens at other places to accomplish different tasks.

Gamers would have to work with the metaverse to upgrade basic stuff like their weapons, or improve their Heroes' skills, or improve their armors. The metaverse also works to mint/buidl uncommon/rare skins, suits, stickers, designs, etc.

These metaverse elements or functions are driven by the market. A limited number of these units will be available for sale as NFT, or land parcels. Some land parcels are also owned by the game, so as to provide services to gamers, even when no one else is.

Weapon Forgeries

Weapon Forgeries are the places where guns are repaired or using the upgrade packs, guns are upgraded.

Even Weapon forgeries have got an upgrade cycle where they have to upgrade themselves to be able to take higher-level guns and give higher capabilities. e.g.: Level 1 Weapon Forgeries will be able to upgrade guns from level 1 to level 2, and level 2 to level 3. To be able to upgrade level 3 and higher guns, they need to upgrade themselves as well.

Along with abilities, Forgeries also have service capacities. They are not unlimited. They need to increase their service capacities by upgrading themselves.

The cost to upgrade guns and ammunition increases with levels.

Gym and Training Ground

Heroes need a place to train and improve their skills, strength, power, and all. Gym and Training grounds work with Heroes to train them, improve them and get them game ready. Without the right training, the heroes could lose their skills, power, strength, and more.

As Heroes upgrade to higher levels, the Gym and training grounds also need to improve and add higher-level training, better equipment, and larger area. Else, heroes will go to the ones that are better.

Along with abilities, Gyms also have service capacities. They are not unlimited. Gyms need to increase their capacities by upgrading themselves.

Like everything, Heroes need to be kept fit, and that comes with some cost. For every 1 hour of gameplay, Heroes need 1 hour of training and 1 hour of resting. There are different activities in the Gym, with each activity costing different. The cost is driven by the market.

Rest and Restaurant

Heroes need to eat/rest to stay healthy and fit for business. For every hour of gameplay, Heroes need an hour of rest and food. They are similar to other land parcels, and the same rules apply here as well. They need to upgrade to increase service capacity and capabilities.

Restaurants may also consume certain rare metals/gems which unlocks them super-food. Food that gives Heroes meta-skills for a limited amount of time. Mix and Match, permutation and combination are what needs to be done to find what works, and what does not.

It might result in losing or destroying a few resources, before making something that will be a gold mine, and give rare superhuman meta-skills to Heroes.

e.g. Sleep 4 hours in an oxygen pod and boost your energy super fast.

Research (Labs)

Research and Labs help all civilizations progress forward, and it is the same in the ZetaVerse.

Labs play a dual role. Firstly, they conduct experiments and combine different elements and compounds minted by the gamers to form new compounds. These new compounds might unlock hidden powers and secrets that could help the Heroes succeed, e.g. upgrade Heroes, Guns, Ammunition, Armor, Protection, etc. Only some of these combinations/experiments are successful, while most others fail. Gamers can give their compounds, but at the same time, be okay with losing them, without getting any returns/ new compounds.

Secondly, Labs also form the core to finding out, if the elements, compounds, gems, rare metals, etc combine to form the portal key which will unlock time travel.

Labs also have an upgrade cycle, where on each upgrade labs add more capabilities, more instruments, and the ability to work with more elements/compounds and gems. The level 1 labs have the ability to work with a few elements/compounds only. The ability to work with more elements/compounds increases as they increase their level.

There is a cost associated with taking in elements/compounds from the gamers.

Vehicles Garage

Forgeries are for Weapons, Gyms are for Heroes, in the same way, Garages are for vehicles. They also have the same constraint and upgrade cycle as others. It is market-driven, where people who own the garages decide the prices.

Garages offer a bunch of services like repair, upgrade, improving specifics, stickering, and more.

Vehicle maintenance is expensive. Only own a vehicle, if you can maintain it.
